Having been born and bred in Traralgon, Alan Whitty has a lot of local knowledge to offer. Being the eighth of nine children to Harold and Jessica, he is quite often asked about his siblings and his parents!

Alan is married to Maree and together they have three beautiful daughters, all of whom live locally.

In the younger years, Alan played footy and cricket at a local level.  Since his playing days are over, he has stayed involved in several areas including coaching and holding positions on different committees and is currently the proud Glengarry Football Netball Club President.
